1. Services

Crown Tints provides window tinting and related services for automotive, residential, commercial, and marine applications. All automotive work is performed at our Kendall shop. We do not offer mobile automotive service.

2. Quotes and Pricing

Prices listed on the Site or given by phone are estimates based on the information provided to us. Final pricing is confirmed at the shop after we inspect the vehicle or property. Vehicle year, make, model, glass condition, existing film, and the film you select can all affect the final price. Prices are subject to change without notice.

3. Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. We may require a deposit to hold a scheduled slot. Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Deposits for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we may need to reschedule you.

4. Vehicle Drop-Off and Pickup

You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before service. Crown Tints is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in a vehicle. Vehicles must be picked up on the day service is completed unless we agree otherwise in writing. Vehicles left more than three days after completion may be subject to storage fees.

5. Florida Window Tint Law
Florida law limits how dark and how reflective window film may be on vehicles operated on public roads, and the limits differ by window position and vehicle type. We will advise you on legal options. If you request film that does not meet Florida requirements, you do so at your own risk and you accept full responsibility for any citation, fine, or requirement to remove the film. Medical exemptions must be obtained by you through the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Crown Tints does not issue medical exemptions and is not responsible for enforcement outcomes.

6. Warranty
Automotive window film installed by Crown Tints carries a lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change, subject to the terms of the film manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty covers the original purchaser and the original vehicle, and it is not transferable unless the manufacturer states otherwise.

The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by accident, abuse, vandalism, or improper cleaning
Scratches or damage from ice scrapers, abrasive cleaners, or ammonia-based products
Damage caused by rolling windows down before the film has fully cured
Film removed or altered by anyone other than Crown Tints
Glass breakage, defroster line failure, or damage to existing glass
Warranty claims must be presented at our shop. Our sole obligation under the warranty is to replace the defective film. Labor for warranty replacement is included; the cost of removing non-Crown Tints film is not.

7. Curing Period and Aftercare
Newly installed film needs time to cure. Do not roll windows down for at least three to five days after installation, and longer in cool or humid weather. Some haze, small water pockets, or slight cloudiness is normal during curing and will clear on its own. Clean tinted glass only with a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner. Failure to follow aftercare instructions voids the warranty.

8. Pre-Existing Conditions and Limitation of Liability
Window film is applied to glass that may already have chips, scratches, cracks, or aftermarket coatings that are not always visible before installation. Removing old film can lift or damage factory defroster lines and antenna grids, particularly on rear glass. By authorizing service, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Crown Tints is not liable for damage to pre-existing conditions, defroster lines, antenna grids, or glass that fails during normal installation or removal.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of a vehicle.

9. Payment
Payment is due in full when the work is completed, before the vehicle or property is released. We accept the payment methods displayed at the shop. A credit card surcharge may apply and will be disclosed before you pay. Returned payments may be subject to a fee.

10. Use of the Site
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and the Crown Tints name, is owned by Crown Tints, LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with its operation. The Site is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that information on the Site is complete, current, or error free, and pricing shown on the Site does not constitute a binding offer.

11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

12. Communications
By providing your phone number or email address, you agree that Crown Tints may contact you about your appointment, your vehicle, and your service. If you opt in to marketing messages, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on the Site is the version in effect. Continued use of the Site or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
